Are You Making Your Situation Better?

What can I do at this moment to better my situation? Aside from sitting in your home and collecting all the toilet paper you can.

We have to take personal responsibility for the things we can control right now.

You have more than likely said to yourself: "That's easy for you to say - everything I can control has been taken from me at the moment. "

On the surface it may seem like that is the case. Look deeper, you will see that there are things that are still within your control.

  • How are you moving daily?

  • How are you fueling your brain, your body?

  • What kind of content are you consuming?

  • What are you learning?

  • What reflections have you made regarding your pre-COVID norm and what will you be implementing in that will be your new normal?

  • What connections have you made?

  • What new practices have you implemented?

These are all things still in your control. When we feel stuck in a bubble we have to focus on the things we can control. When we do that we are able to take control of our lives and steer the ship in the right direction. Focus on what you can't control and well you are more than likely going to be spending more energy just getting frustrated.
