Are You Using the Right Tools For the Job?

We are so blessed to live in the age of information and technology. With all of this information and technology we get so many tools to use to help us get the job done.

For example we have all of the APPs in the world to track Heart Rate, our food intake, our sleep, our workouts, how much water we drink. We also have so many different tools for recovery like foam rolling, massage, ISTYM, float tanks, CBD, Normatecs, Ice Baths, Saunas Infared lights......The list goes on and on forever.

Which tool should I use? What APP is best?

This is the problem. In the information age we have so much information and tools that we get paralysis analysis. Think what happens when you are on NETFLIX and trying to pick something to watch. There are so many choices. All of them look great but which do I choose. Instead of choosing one we spend 30 minutes picking none and going to bed. We spent so much time thinking about what to watch we didn't get to actually watch anything.

This is the same for your health. You can spend some much time researching what is out there that you fail to do the most important thing....TAKE ACTION!

It seems almost every day there is a new trend or diet that is coming out that is going to be a game changer! The tools and diets and exercises that work the best are.........The ones that you can consistently do.

Sure for particular situations there are more appropriate tools however more important than the tool is consistent action. As you learn how to use the new tool you will find out what it does and if it is useful. We need to constantly be trying things out, keeping what works and getting rid of what doesn't.

The more tools you have in your tool belt the better equipped you will be to handle what life throws at you!
